“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it. been very encouraged by this of late: (acts19) "God worked" vs.11 "Paul preaches" vs.13 it's a crazy simple thought but massively encouraging to me..... my job isn't as complicated as I often make it..... I am to represent Christ, to say His name, to walk with Him and be in love with Him, to tell my story, to love on His behalf, to go and share - HIS JOB is to work (do all the heavy lifting) "yet not I but the grace of God labored thru me" (I Cor.15:10c) the enemy gets us all

sobering and eye-opening..... yesterday, flew into Augusta for the weekend and we were asked to stay seated on the plane while the body of a US soldier was unloaded for his waiting family, and while his best friend who was accompanying his body home from the fight left the plane first to due his ceremonial duty and to comfort the waiting, grieving family..... We all sat in silence thru the whole process and even when it was over there was an appropriate hush while deplaning.... I
had privilege of sharing this during my time in Ireland - praying for all of us as we SEEK after CHRIST, and follow wherever He leads!
"We need the Holy Spirit, and it is a tragedy that we get bogged down with debate and theological niceties at the expense of knowing the personal dynamic power of the third person of the trinity." "An equal tragedy is the abuse and error and perversion that is performed in the name of the Holy Spirit in Christendom." "We are warned of false fire by fire-less men and then we too often settle for no fire at all"
"George Muller was conscious of being too busy to pray as he ought. His outward action was too constant for inward reflection, and he saw that there was risk of losing peace and power and that activity even in the most sacred sphere must not be so absorbing as to prevent holy meditation on the Word and fervent supplication. The Lord said first to Elijah, “Go, hide thyself”; then, “Go, show thyself.” He who does not first hide himself in the secret place to be alone with God, is unfit to show
